Please read the following conditions carefully, as they are affected by the installation conditions. 9000208 Canada Inc. does not assume, and does not authorize anyone to assume or offer to assume on its behalf, any other warranty obligation or liability.

How to obtain service?

You must notify 9000208 Canada Inc. in writing of any product defects covered by this warranty within 30 days of the first observation of the defect at the following address:

How does the law apply?
​
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, but you may have other rights that vary from province to province. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or the limitation of the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

What will canacoustics do?
​
For all warranties, if 9000208 Canada Inc. confirms such a product defect, 9000208 Canada Inc. will, at its own expense, deliver f.o.b. the installation location, a new product of similar or identical type and quality, in an equal quantity to the determined defective section.

THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS 9000208 CANADA INC.'S ONLY OBLIGATION AND THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE CONDITIONS BELOW AND 9000208 CANADA INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL COSTS, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR PERSONAL INJURIES.

What the warranty does not cover?
​
All 9000208 Canada Inc. warranties are subject to normal use conditions. Abnormal conditions include exposure to chemical vapors, corrosive agents (e.g. chlorine), vibrations, impacts, humidity caused by condensation or leaks in the building, excessive humidity, excessive dirt or accumulated dust. Damage that may be caused by vibrations, fire, water, freezing, accidents or any form of abuse or exposure to abnormal conditions is not covered by this warranty. If any such conditions occur, the warranty will be void. The warranty does not cover damages caused by modifications, alterations or repairs made by anyone other than 9000208 Canada Inc. or its authorized representatives. The warranty does not cover damages caused by the use of accessories, parts or devices that are not approved by 9000208 Canada Inc. . The warranty does not cover damages caused by transportation or installation. The warranty does not cover any cost of removal or re-installation. The warranty does not cover any cost of labor or material for the repair or replacement of any parts. The warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear. The warranty does not cover damages caused by the lack of maintenance or improper maintenance. The warranty does not cover damages caused by the failure to follow the instructions contained in the owner's manual.

Warranty conditions
​
Before installation, the wall panels must be kept clean and dry, in a controlled temperature range between the lower and upper limits mentioned below for fiberglass and mineral fiber products, and must not be subjected to abnormal conditions. The installation of all SoftTone, Melafoam, and ÜNO board products (felt panels, baffles and grids) acoustic wall panels must be carried out when the temperature is between 4 and 49°C (40 and 120°F). All wet work (plaster, concrete, etc.) must be completed and dry. These temperature and humidity conditions must be maintained throughout the warranty period.
